This is a beautiful medieval damask decorated with phoenixes amid vines. The pattern most likely originated in Iran, although it was also used for garments in Spain and Italy. The original is a silk textile with real golden threads with a pattern repeat of about 48cm. Given the nowadays economical and technical limitations we will weave a replica of this textile in pure silk with no golden thread (the golden color will be substituted with golden-beige colored silk threads) and in a pattern size of 28cm.
